About FAIRY TALES – ITALY - Primary School of Rionero in Vulture

The fables and fairy tales were born in ancient times and were passed down orally from generation to generation and from country to countryIn them we can find traces of the traditions, beliefs, ancient rites. The pleasure of listening or reading the fables and fairy tales do not have the time or age: just surrender to the narrative that gives great emotions and fun despite the wealth of meanings important. The tales believe the child a new role, making it become a producer, researcher. Through the fairy tales the child gives a meaning to their asctions, took optimistic attitudes towards the experience.It is educates the amazement and wonder, to a creative and imaginative language. Knowledge narration allows pupils to build ideas, opinions, images, representations, beliefs and plans. Through fairy tales students learn to see, to observe things in the world, to be players in the changing world. It’s'in this way that knowledge to tell allows young people to learn to use the word to talk about the future and to understand the changes in the reality around them. Inspired by the Andersen fairy tale "The Ugly Duckling" pupils of Primary School of Rionero in Vulture have reinvented the story .
The realization of this fable involved all disciplines and stimulated the creativity of the students who had used their imagination and their knowledge.
